Video training for current customers:
Teleradiology is the transmission of radiological patient images, such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs, from one location to another for the purposes of sharing studies with other radiologists and physicians. Teleradiology improves patient care by allowing Radiologists to provide services without actually having to be at the location of the patient. This is particularly important when a sub-specialist such as a MRI Radiologist, Neuroradiologist, Pediatric Radiologist, or Musculoskeletal Radiologist is needed, since these professionals are generally only located in large metropolitan areas working during day time hours. Teleradiology allows for trained specialists to be available 24/7.
Our pricing is very aggressive. Our goal is to bring world-class features to all users at a price that is simply unbeatable. There are no startup costs. We will provide the software, installation, service and support. We have found this to be far cheaper than even every service agreement and without capital required. Our solutions are all-inclusive with no up-front costs to consider. The monthly cost includes the Teleradiology services, ChartPoint Dashboards and all of our PACS Middleware product line. Your new clients download their program free of charge and place it on any computer in their network. The cost to you is an additional $50 monthly fee per site, plus hourly considerations for HL7 interfaces. The fee is structured to ensure any new client can pay for itself as long as a single study is read each month. It is a truley seamless and affordable solution!
Yes. Radiology Technology's software will sit on your network, communicate with your existing PACS environment(s) through standard DICOM protocols and communicate with the end-user through a very simple website. You simply visit the hosted webpage from our platform and can begin managing your teleradiology features immediately. New clients simply download a small peice of software (Mac/Windows compatible) in order to start transferring studies directly from their PACS or modalities directly to you. Once you receive studies, the rules can be set to automatically import into the reading queue of your existing PACS, or you can require Tech Q/A processing via our website interface to ensure proper demographics, study description, etc. are provided.
We provide a DICOM Gateway server in conjuction with the rest of our PACS middleware. You manage new sites through this server software. To add a new client, you simply create a SiteID and a passcode. The new sending facility will download a free client software which manages the DICOM traffic securely from their facility to yours. You can have a new site setup and start reading within minutes, not hours or days. No VPNs are required!
Of course, the speed of the transfers is completely dependant on your internet bandwidth, but it is incredibly intelligent with regards to receiving all images of the study. If an image fails half way through the sending process due to an internet outage, for example, it will simple wait patiently until the internet connection is reestablished and start sending once again. The server side is patient and tries endlessly to reconnect with the client to complete the jobs in the queue. You can monitor the progress of each image by watching the progress bar.
Although this question is answered above, it is worth mentioning again. The setup time for a new client can be completed in about 10 minutes. The longest part of the process is getting the client-side modalities setup to see the new client software as a valid destination by adding the IP address, port number and AE Title. All modality vendors can add these three items in minutes. It just takes a phone call to intiate the request on their end. If they are sending from their own PACS, it is typically even easier. We will guide you through this and any other steps required for setup.
There are only a few buttons on the server and client software GUIs. We can't think of an easier way to establish the teleradiology link than how it is currently setup. We can walk you through the process in minutes.
This are no limits to concurrent sending jobs or logged-in users. We do not want to limit your practice in any way; therefore, we impose no limitations.
Yes. With our client gateway soon becoming available on the app stores, there will be a demand for reading professionals to offer their services. We can establish agreements that allow us to route traffic to your server for reading services. If you are interested in this, please use the 'Contact Us' form.
